A taxi in St. Anton am Arlberg when you need it — not in an hour. As the local taxi service we're on the road in town around the clock: from your hotel to the Galzigbahn, from the restaurant back to your chalet, from St. Anton am Arlberg station right to your door. One call or WhatsApp message and we're on our way to you.

Our drivers live and work on the Arlberg. They know every hotel, guesthouse and shortcut — even in snowfall at three in the morning. That's why we drive winter-equipped 4x4 vehicles with ski and snowboard racks, and that's why you get the fixed price before you get in. No meter surprises, no waiting in the cold.

A short ride across St. Anton, a night pickup after après-ski at the Mooserwirt, or a trip to St. Christoph, Stuben, Pettneu and Flirsch — your local taxi gets you there safely. We also drive to Lech and Zürs daily at a fixed price.

Getting home after the Mooserwirt

The Mooserwirt and the Krazy Kanguruh sit above the village, on the piste. At four in the afternoon several hundred people come out of them at the same time — most in ski boots, most having had a very good day. The road down is short, steep, and in February it is ice.

That is our busiest hour of the day, every day of the season. If you have a rough idea when you want to leave, send us a WhatsApp before you go in and we will be there. If you don't, call us and we will come — but you will be behind the people who thought of it earlier.

Mooserwirt or Krazy Kanguruh to the centre: €21 by day, €24 after 20:00. Same car, same driver, whatever state you are in. We have seen it all and we are not judging.

How to reach the taxis at the Moos barrier

The taxis wait at the Moos barrier, where the two roads meet. Getting there depends on which bar you are coming out of:

  • From the Mooserwirt: walk UP the road for about 150 metres — the barrier is at the top, where the cars are standing.
  • From the Krazy Kanguruh, Taps or Arlone: walk DOWN about 100 metres, past the Kaminstube, then another 50 metres and you are at the barrier.

It is a two-minute walk from either side, in ski boots maybe three. If there is no car standing when you arrive, call us — at après time we are shuttling up and down constantly and the next one is minutes away.

Where we pick you up

Anywhere in the village — outside your hotel door, at the Galzigbahn, at the station, at the restaurant. St. Anton is small and we know every address, including the ones with no number on the gate.

A few places are worth knowing about: the Fußgängerzone in the centre is closed to traffic, so we pick up at either end. If you are staying up in Gastig or Hochgastig, tell us the house name — the road forks and half the chalets look identical in the dark.

Local tip

Ask your driver for the quickest pickup point near your hotel — in the centre it is often the end of the Fußgängerzone rather than the door.

Where to find a taxi in St. Anton

You do not have to call — you can also just walk up. Our cars wait at the taxi ranks around the village:

  • Train station (Bahnhof) — the main rank, right outside arrivals
  • Galzigbahn — at the valley station
  • Rendlbahn — at the valley station
  • Ostterminal — east end of the village
  • Moos barrier — where the roads from the Mooserwirt and the Krazy Kanguruh meet; our après-ski pickup point (see above)

If the rank is empty, call us — in town we are minutes away.

Taxi or the ski bus?

Use the ski bus. Until 18:00 it is free, it runs often, and it covers the whole village — for getting to the lifts in the morning it is genuinely the best option. We will tell you the same thing on the phone.

What most visitors do not know: at 18:00 the free ski bus becomes the Nightbus. It costs €3.50 per person and runs much less often. For four people that is €14 — waiting in the cold, on the bus's route and the bus's schedule. A taxi across the village is €16–18, at your door, when you call.

So the honest rule is: lifts close at 16:00, and you have two more hours of free bus after that. Before 18:00, take the bus. After 18:00 — dinner, après, the late train — that is when you call us.

Racks on every vehicle, no surcharge.
