Every journey is private: unlike a shared shuttle, we stop at nobody else’s accommodation — we drive straight from your door to the airport. Every price is per vehicle and one way, including every toll and vignette your route needs and your ski equipment; if your route takes the Arlberg Tunnel, that toll is inside it too. Book both directions together and we hold the return for your departure day. Each card below opens the full route page — the same road, driven the other way.

From St. Anton
St. Anton sits right on the S16, so the run to any airport starts the moment we leave your door — no pass to cross first.
From Lech
From Lech we come down the Flexenstraße first. In winter those first fifteen minutes decide the whole schedule, so we start earlier than the distance suggests.
From Zurs
Zürs lies at 1,717 m at the top of the Flexen pass. It is the most snow-sure address on the Arlberg and the one where an early start matters most.
From St. Christoph
St. Christoph is up on the pass above St. Anton at 1,800 m. A short descent, but one we plan for when the road has fresh snow on it.
From Stuben
Stuben stands at the western foot of the pass, three kilometres above Langen. Going west the mountain part is those three kilometres and nothing more; going east for Innsbruck, the pass or the tunnel comes first.
Which vehicle comes
Our own vehicles, all four-wheel drive with winter tyres from November to April and snow chains on board. Ski equipment travels outside on the rear rack at no extra charge. Which vehicle comes depends on how many you are and how much you carry — tell us both when you book.

Child seats, baby seats and boosters are free on request — we only need the ages of the children when you book.
Where everything is
All five villages sit in the same corridor, which is why the journey times stay so close to one another. From Lech and Zurs the road goes down the Flexenstraße first, from St. Christoph over the top of the pass; St. Anton and Stuben are on the valley floor already. From Langen, or from the St. Anton junction, the road is the same for all of them — only the direction after that depends on the airport.
Luggage, Skis and Equipment on the Way Back
Skis and snowboards
Skis and snowboards travel outside, on a rack fitted to the rear door, and they cost nothing extra on the way back either. The rack keeps the cabin for the people, which is why a group of eight with equipment still travels as one vehicle rather than two.
What the way back adds
After a week on the Arlberg there is rarely less luggage than on the way in. Helmets, wet boots, shopping, and sometimes a pair of skis that were hired before and are travelling home now — tell us when you book the return what has changed, and the right vehicle comes.
No surcharge, just a line
There is no luggage surcharge and no charge for ski equipment. What we do need is to know in advance, because the vehicle is chosen before the driver sets off to collect you. The booking form has a field for it, and one line is enough.
Families and Groups on the Way Back
The way back is the direction in which a family has the least appetite for connections. A private transfer collects you outside your accommodation, stops for nobody else and sets you down at the terminal — for an early flight that means sleeping until the last possible minute rather than a bus and a station in the dark.
Travelling with children
Child and booster seats are free and already fitted when we collect you. Tell us the ages when you book — even if we drove you on the way in, we would rather confirm it again for the way back.
Groups of more than eight
Up to eight people travel in one vehicle. Above eight we send two, each at its own fixed price, and both are outside the same door at the same time — which matters more on the way back than on the way in, because a flight does not wait.

The most common question before booking. The ranges below cover all five villages on the Arlberg: the journey time from the nearest to the furthest, and the lowest price per vehicle. Which village costs exactly what is in the cards above.

When we pick you up
We work the pickup time backwards from your departure. That covers more than the drive: checking in with ski luggage, security, and a margin for winter. From Lech and Zürs we start a little earlier, because the Flexenstraße comes first.

These times are from St. Anton and already include the drive, check-in and a winter margin. From Lech, Zürs and St. Christoph add the run over the Flexen or Arlberg pass — we confirm your exact pickup time when you book.
Your driver is at the door 10 to 15 minutes before the agreed departure. That time is planned in: for loading suitcases and skis, for handing back the keys, for a quick stop at a cash machine if you would rather pay in cash, or for a coffee from the bakery. You should not have to rush — and we still leave on time.
On a Saturday the Rhine valley and the Arlberg are busier than midweek, because half the region leaves on the same morning. We build in extra time for that — all you notice is that we are at the door a little earlier.
What is different on the way back
- No flight to track — a time to hit
On the way in, we wait for you. On the way out, you wait for us, and the plane waits for nobody. That is why we plan this direction with more margin than the other.
- Collected where you slept
No meeting point and no name sign — we are outside your accommodation. If the access is tight in winter, we know where to stop.
- Early starts are normal
A good share of departures start before sunrise. We drive around the clock, all year — including 5am on New Year’s Day.
Zurich city instead of the airport
Plenty of guests are not heading for the airport at all but into Zurich itself — a night before the flight home, the Hauptbahnhof, or a few days in the city. We drive that the same way, door to door.
Allow around 30 minutes longer than the run to the airport, and about €50 more — the drive is simply further. We confirm the exact price when you enquire, once we have the address in the city.

This page lists only the airports closest to the Arlberg ski resorts. There are many more — and longer journeys are possible too: another airport, a railway station, a city, or a destination well outside the region.

Questions about the return journey
When do we need to leave?
We work that out for you: journey time, plus the time you need at the airport, plus a winter margin. Our starting rules: three hours before departure for Innsbruck, three and a half for Altenrhein, four for Friedrichshafen, four and a half for Memmingen, five for Zurich and six for Munich. From Lech and Zurs we set off a little earlier, because the Flexenstraße comes first. All you tell us is the flight number and the departure time — and we call you the day before to settle it.
Do you collect us from our accommodation?
Yes, door to door — hotel, chalet or apartment, in St. Anton as much as in Lech, Zurs, Stuben and St. Christoph. We know the addresses rather than search for them.
Do you drive very early in the morning?
Yes, around the clock. Four and five o’clock departures are routine for us in winter. Tell us when you book and the vehicle is at the door in time.
Can we book the outbound and the return together?
Yes, and it is the simplest way. We hold the return for your departure day and time the pickup to your flight.
What if it snows on the day we leave?
Then we set off earlier. We check the road situation and the Arlberg closures in the morning and plan the pickup around them — half an hour of margin beats a missed flight.
Is the Flexenstraße always open in winter?
Usually yes — it is the main road to Lech and Zürs and is cleared continuously. It can close briefly for avalanche risk; we check on the morning of your transfer and tell you straight away.
Do you take ski equipment on the way back?
Yes, at no extra cost, on the rear rack. Tell us how many sets when you book so the right vehicle comes.
Is the price per vehicle or per person?
Per vehicle. The prices on this page are one way for the whole vehicle, including every toll and vignette your route needs and your ski equipment.
What if our flight changes?

How long does the driver wait at pickup?
Your driver is there 10 to 15 minutes before the agreed time so there is no rush loading. If you need five minutes more, that is not a problem — the time is planned in.
When and how do I pay?
You pay your driver directly — cash or card. If you would rather pay in cash and need to draw money, we stop briefly at a cash machine; just say so.
How many passengers and how much luggage fit?
VW Caravelle for up to 8 passengers, Mercedes minivan for up to 7. Suitcases and hand luggage are included, and skis and boards travel on the rear rack. Tell us the number of passengers and ski sets when you book.
Are tolls and vignettes included?
Yes, every one your route needs — the Austrian vignette, and the Swiss one as well on drives into Switzerland. If your route takes the Arlberg Tunnel, that toll is included too; not every route does. You stop at no counter along the way.
Can you collect us from accommodation with no vehicle access?
Yes. If the lane is too narrow in winter or has not been cleared, we stop at the nearest point we can reach and help with the luggage. We know those addresses — it does not surprise us on the morning you leave.
Do you also drive from Lech, Zurs, Stuben and St. Christoph?
Yes, from all five Arlberg villages. The prices are above; from Lech and Zurs the Flexenstraße comes first, which is why we set off a little earlier there. From Stuben it is three kilometres down to Langen, the shortest mountain stretch of the five.
