Every private transfer starts at the entrance of your accommodation — the hotel, chalet or apartment you have been staying in — not at the edge of the village and not at a meeting point. Your driver comes to the hotel door, helps with the cases and the ski bags, and loads the luggage himself.
There is one practical advantage to leaving from the village we work out of: the car does not have to get to you first. For a pickup before dawn everywhere else, a driver sets off in the dark to reach the door. Here he is already in it. The way out is the S16 west through the Arlberg road tunnel, then down the Klostertal past Langen and Klösterle to Bludenz, north through the Rhine valley and over the border at Diepoldsau. On the way in the last half hour is a climb; on the way out it is the first half hour, and it is downhill on a road that was cleared overnight rather than during the day.
