There is no restricted zone, no goods hall and no change of vehicle; the driver knows the house before the satnav has finished thinking about it. The Stuben am Arlberg to Zurich Airport Route
Three kilometres down the L197 to Langen, onto the S16, and the mountain part is over. Then the Klostertal past Klösterle, Bludenz, north through the Rhine valley and across the border at Diepoldsau. Neither the tolled Arlberg tunnel nor the Flexen road is involved in either direction.
The route is direct: no other passengers, no second vehicle and no stop between your door and the terminal. At Zurich Airport the transfer ends at your airline’s departures area. With light luggage the train is a sensible choice. With a ski bag, a boot bag and children it is less often one — and a missed connection on the way home costs more than a missed connection on the way out.
