The route

From Zurich Airport the drive runs on the A3 along the Walensee, then south on the A13 past Sargans and up the Rhine valley through Liechtenstein and Feldkirch. The A14 climbs toward Bludenz, where the S16 Arlberg road takes you up toward the pass. Lech sits beyond Zürs at the head of its own valley — over the Flexenstraße and down into the village at 1,450 m. In normal conditions it is roughly 200 km and about 2h 20min; we plan for realistic winter timing rather than a best-case number.

Winter conditions on the Arlberg

The Arlberg is winter country from November to April. The final climb over the pass or through the tunnel can see heavy snow, ice and the occasional closure. Our vehicles are 4x4, carry snow chains and are prepared for 2,000 m altitude — this is our home road in every condition, and if the pass closes we already know the alternatives.

Private transfer vs. shared shuttle

This is a private transfer: the vehicle is yours alone, the price is per car not per seat, and we set off when you land — no waiting for a shuttle to fill, no other resorts on the way. Flight tracking is included, so your driver is there even if you are delayed.
